Deep Tissue Massage & Trigger Point Therapy
I work into the deeper layers of muscle, addressing areas of tension that a lighter relaxation technique doesn't reach. This style of massage is slower and more focused: I find a specific tight spot in the muscle and hold pressure there until it starts to release.
Trigger point therapy targets what are called trigger points, small dense knots in the muscle tissue. I apply sustained, focused pressure directly on these spots rather than spreading pressure evenly across the whole body.
The depth of pressure is always adjusted to you. It can feel intense, but it should never feel unbearable. I check in with you during the session, and you can always ask me to go deeper or ease off.
